Seaplane Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm in Austin, Texas. The Seaplane Venture Fund is actively deploying and primarily invests in US startups at the pre-seed and seed stages with early progress towards product/market fit and business models geared around network effects and recurring revenues.
Seaplane and its network of advisors take a proactive, hands-on approach to advising and supporting its founders on everything from content to product strategy to capital allocation. We have more time to dedicate to our founders as we focus our capital on a smaller number of startups. Seaplane is also flexible when it comes to funding. Our highest priority is backing exceptional founders and startups, not obsessing over ownership percentages. Seaplane is happy to co-invest or provide a startup's first institutional capital.
